Social policy

CherMK places high importance on its relationships with its employees, the local community and government and uses this as the foundation for its social policy.

As the largest employer in Cherepovets and the wider Vologda region, the  company supports a number of important local charitable and social initiatives from supporting local historical and cultural heritage to improving local recreational facilities and implementing the Severstal Health program.

Cherepovets Steel Mill won the Russian Contest of Socially Responsible Businesses on numerous occasions.
